 shinshin is a new york based line launched in 2009. her design philosophy is to create garments that are not just fashionable but stimulate the senses; pieces that seduce the eye but also inspire the mind. shin creates garments with linear shapes and geometric forms but still retaining a pure, serene beauty. the theme for the spring/summer collection is limitation. The collection is composed of only cotton jersey in black or white. experiments were performed with various techniques and pieces were brought to life with different textures, prints and shapes. limitation is intended to maximize creativity. the collection displays how much can be accomplished with one of the simplest kinds of fabric .
